I am sooo excited to tell you about today’s polishes! The title of the post has already given you an idea of why I’m so over the moon, right? Well, without further ado, let me present you my collaboration shades with Moo Moo’s Signatures! There are two polishes that I’ve got the chance to create together with Mei Mei.
I am so grateful for the opportunity and just want to say thank you (a huuuuge thank you!) to Mei Mei, the owner of the brand, and to you guys! Thank you so much for stopping by, reading, commenting and discussing polishes with me. Now while I’m shedding a tear or two, please have a look at these two beauties below and tell me what you think! <3
The first shade is a mint green base with white matte hex glitters, small dark blue flakes, tiny neon green flakes and added holo flakes. The inspiration comes from snowberry plants. I love nature a lot and it has always been my source of strength and balance so it was my first choice when I got the chance to create collaboration shades. The polish has a crelly formula so you might need three coats to make it opaque. I did two coats for my shorter nails + added topcoat.
The second shade is a lilac pink base with small blue flakes and a pinch of sterling silver shimmer. I love bluebell flowers, they are probably my favourite flowers to paint in watercolour so I thought I would love to have a shade that reminded me of that beauty. There are several types of bluebells in terms of colour, my favourites are those with lilac, pale blue and cobalt blue flowers. I hoped to reflect thats in the polish here. I did two coats here but if you’re someone who really likes doing thin coats, you might want to do three.
So this is the time when I don’t have to and don’t want to pick any favourites because I obviously love both of them! When we were brainstorming the ideas and the colour, Mei Mei was surprised to hear that I actually liked lighter shades a lot. I talk a lot about brights and especially dark and almost black shades but I absolutely adore a good pastel too 🙂 Do you find it surprising that I’m into light shades?
