Moo Moo’s Signatures has started the year with something pretty so I wanted to show those pretties to you today. The brand released 6 polishes on January 3rd and they are still available on their website. There are some limited edition shades which Iwish were permanent as they are too nice to be around for just a brief period of time (sigh). All sighs aside, let’s see what we have today.
This polish is described as a dusty blue holo with blue shimmer and blue tiny flakies. This is so frosty and the name is so fitting! This is an understated kind of shade to me which I love wearing when I get tired from all the glitter bombs and stuff like that. The real stars here are those tiny blue flakes (or big shimmers?) which you can spot in the macro shot. They add a little something and look like tiny sparkles popping here in there in real life.
This polish is described as an olive holo with green to faint blue duochrome pigment. The seasonal wearer in me says it’s a very pretty shade for autumn. The fine shimmer in there does shift to teal-ish blue at extreme angles but I wasn’t able to capture it in the photos.
The Great Magician
This polish is described as a dusty purple with green to purple chameleon shimmer. This polish has many faces! Sometimes I even struggle to tell what colour it really is 🙂 It has a strong magenta/purple side but my lighting set up doesn’t fully allow me to capture it well. You can catch a glimpse of it in the macro picture, though.
This polish is described as a black jelly with green ucc flakes, green to purple shimmer and holo flakes. If you’ve been here long enough, you know that I love black polishes with something in them (be it glitter, flakies or shimmer). This one is no exception. A black jelly with a lovely formula! It does need top coat to make the flakes pop, though.
Love Is Vulnerable
This polish is described as a red jelly with orange to gold to green chameleon flakes, tiny blue to purple flakies and holo flakes. I don’t know why the brand even bothered writing a lengthy description because this polish could be simply described as a complete stunner. It’s outrageously beautiful and I love it to pieces. If you want me to add something useful, then I’ll say that it only took me 2 thin coats for full opacity + top coat for smoothness and shine.
Cupid Has An Accident (LE)
The last polish from this release is described as a pink crelly with red holo flakes, caramel hexes, black hexes, holo flakes, blue to purple ucc flakes and tiny purple flakies. This little cupid here is too cute! It look lovely, it applies well and it only needs 2 coats. I added top coat for my middle and ring fingers (the first picture below) so you would see the difference it makes.
My favourite is Love Is Vulnerable hands down. It’s so gorgeous that I can’t stop looking at it. The little Cupid deserves an honourable mention too — it is super cute and it has the funniest name.
